THE THREE PILLARS OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODOLOGY: THE STATE OF THE ART
Por ÁLAZE GABRIEL DO BREVIÁRIOSobre o livro
This work qualitatively addresses the three constituent pillars of scientific research methodology, namely: epistemological, logical and technical.
Since the vast literature on this topic greatly contradicts itself when it comes to its constituent pillars, this work carries out, in a very comprehensive but not exhaustive way, a review of the critical literature and other documents on the topic, with the objective to clarify its correct understanding and its appropriate use.
Therefore, this book is aimed primarily at university students.
To this end, it uses: the neoperspectivist paradigm, as its epistemological axis; the hypothetical-deductive method, as the basis of its thought structure; and the non-participant observational method, of the bibliographic and documentary type, as the procedural basis of its investigation.
It discusses the obstacles to scientific progress, among the main ones, imperfect human interpretations and poor adaptations and/or applications of research methods by the researcher. Considers and presents ethics as a driving element of authentic scientificity.
It is concluded that this work brings significant terminological, conceptual, taxonomic and content advances to the topic investigated.
