Sobre o livro
The Frequency of the Other Adam Tueri
Noah Voss is fifteen years old, lives in an almost always empty apartment, and has carried a quiet certainty since childhood: he has never been completely alone.
Since the night he was seven — the night his parents fought for the last time and the house went the kind of quiet that hurts — something changed in the air of his bedroom. A presence without form, without voice. But always there. Constant. Watching.
For eight years, Noah learned to live with it. He learned not to tell anyone, except for Gabe, his best friend raised in a deeply religious family, and Anna, as rational and skeptical as an equation. When the two finally discover what Noah has been carrying, each arrives at a different conclusion — and neither of them is entirely wrong.
But the truth is older and stranger than any of them imagined.
The entity that inhabits Noah didn’t come from hell or from imagination. It came from another dimension — pulled through a fissure opened at the precise point where a child’s pain and the frequency of a being from another plane aligned with a specificity that was no coincidence. Over time, what should have been a malevolent presence slowly learns what no being from its dimension of origin has ever learned: to want. To protect. To stay.
Noah calls this being Adam.
And Adam is learning what it means to be human — while something far older and far more dangerous begins closing in, tracking the frequency it lost years ago and willing to do anything to get it back.
The Frequency of the Other is a story about what happens when loneliness opens a fissure in the universe — and what crosses through that fissure decides to stay not because it has to, but because it chooses to.

“For everyone who has ever been alone in a dark room, waiting for the silence to go away. And for what came through the silence.”
