Shadows of Silence

In the first chapter of “Shadows of Silence,” the Johnson family moves to a secluded house in the countryside, hoping for a peaceful life. However, strange occurrences begin to unsettle them.

Emily sees shadows that disappear when she looks at them, Daniel has disturbing dreams, and Emma witnesses her toys moving mysteriously. Richard starts researching the history of the house, which was previously occupied by the mysterious Blackwood family.

As the tension in the house grows, the Johnsons’ sanity is challenged. In the second chapter, the nights at the house become eerily silent, and Richard begins hearing whispers and experiencing unsettling phenomena.

Emily also senses an unusual presence, and the children share their own eerie encounters. Richard decides to investigate and is guided by the whispers, feeling that they have a presence of their own. The house is about to reveal its true nature as the Johnsons’ nightmare unfolds.

Chapter 3 hints at a storm brewing on the horizon as the family makes a discovery in the attic.
