Quando elas esperam é uma adaptação da peça Esperando Godot, de Samuel Beckett, escrita em 1949 e publicada pela primeira vez em 1952. Originalmente pensada para o palco, diante da pandemia e da necessidade de isolamento social, ela foi transformada em uma peça radiofônica, ideia da atriz Maíra Castilhos, a qual já havia atuado em outras trabalhos do gênero.

When they wait is an adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s play Waiting for Godot, written in 1949 and first published in 1952. The adaptation was originally intended for theatrical performance, but due to the pandemic and the need of social distancing, it was transformed into a radio play. The idea was conceived by actress Maíra Castilhos, who has acted in other similar works.
