FUNIL: Alexandre Gama

FUNIL- FINALISTA DO PRÊMIO JABUTI DE LITERATURA 2025 (categoria Produção Editorial) .It is Alexandre Gama’s debut book in the poetic prose literature category.

It presents 39 poem-texts that very creatively and insightfully address themes such s childhood, aging, resilience, reinventing oneself, relationships, love, the power and importance of language, and even themes not seem before in poetry such as Artificial Intelligence, all in a well-constructed rich articulation of vocabulary and literary images.

In the author own words, “ FUNIL, as the title wants to convey, is about this thick and condensed broth of experience that descends every day through narrow bottleneck of our senses and that each person transforms into what they want, or what they can. But they can, if they want.”
