The first story is called “The Black Goat”, a story about a man named Dr. Fredrick Valentine who is invited to attend a ball from his friend whom he hasn’t seen for two years.
At the ball he notices that all his former friends are now worth billions. They have gotten their fortures by playing a game on the internet. Dr. Valentine is intrigued and curious.
He want to play the game too mpt realizing what playing the game will cost him.
