VENEZUELAN MIGRATION IN BOA VISTA BRAZIL: MIGRANTES VENEZUELANOS E TRABALHO TEMPORÁRIO EM BOA VISTA–RR: ANTROPOLOGIA URBANA NO NORTE DO BRASIL: MANUAL DE COMO REALIZAR UMA ETNOGRAFIA

RESUMO

Este trabalho é o resultado da etnografia realizado em três maticas, espaços que abrigam migrantes venezuelanos em busca de trabalho ao chegaram à cidade de Boa Vista, capital do estado de Roraima. Esses espaços fazem parte das inúmeras redes migratórias que existem nessa cidade.

O objetivo do trabalho é compreender a organização e a dinâmica nas maticas e o significado da migração a partir de quem a vivência.

Para isso, também nos apoiamos nas narrativas de três migrantes que atuam em três maticas localizados no perímetro urbano do bairro Cidade Satélite, situado na zona oeste de Boa Vista, a saber, a Matica, Matica La Sede e Matica Puesto el Índio.

Durante a pesquisa de campo percebemos que esses espaços são uma espécie de escritório a céu aberto onde os migrantes ofertam a sua força de trabalho, a partir do processo de auto agenciamento dos integrantes de cada espaço.

Tais espaços tem em comum a busca pela sobrevivência e a resistência diante da vulnerabilidade a qual estão expostos enquanto força de trabalho desvalorizada, em comparação aos nativos.

As maticas configuram-se, num primeiro momento, em migração por sobrevivência e, por meio das redes sociais aí constituídas, vão se auto agenciar ao ponto de agilizar o processo de interiorização por meio do “Projeto Acolher”, de iniciativa do governo federal.

ABSTRACT This work is an ethnography carried out in three maticas, places that shelter Venezuelan migrants looking for work when they arrived Boa Vista, the city capital of the state of Roraima. These places are part of the numerous migratory networks that exist in the city.

The aim of the work is to understand the organization and dynamics of the maticas and the meaning of migration from those who experience it.

For that, we also rely on the narratives of three migrants who work in three maticas located in the urban areas of the Cidade Satelite neighborhood, located in the west side of Boa Vista, namely, Matica, Matica Sede, Matica Puesto el Índio.

During the fieldwork, we realized that these places are a kind of outdoor offices where the migrants offer their workforce, based on the self-agency process of the members of each place.

Such places have in common the search for survival and resistance in the face of vulnerability to which they are exposed as a devalued workforce, compared to the natives ones.

The maticas are configured, at first, in migration for survival and, throughout the social networks constituted there, they will self-organize to the point of streamlining the process of interiorization throughout the “Projeto Acolher”, an initiative of the federal government.
