“The Technological Winter” begins six years after the Nanotechnology genius ExoDia, Dalbert Kirian, unearths and restores a set of scrapped robotic remains possessing mysterious and unknown technology.

This technology has the potential to serve biomedicine in curing virtually all known human diseases. However, the promise embedded in what he called “Project Valkyrius” crumbled when, infected by a harmful bio-virus, it ceased to use the technology for healing diseases.

Instead, it began to believe that humanity was the very disease that needed purification, initiating a hunt that resulted in billions of deaths and countless others transformed into aberrations resembling her.

Cornered and losing control of her own machines, humanity as known lost the war for supremacy. Still, Dalbert, alongside the inseparable Dr. Kayle, discovers that the prototype of Valkyrius had been invented about a hundred years earlier by Dalbert’s own grandfather.

Now, they must use the time machine to go back to the past and attempt to change the terrible fate that led humanity to bow to machines and their unstoppable leader.
